The history of SSO

In 1960 at Suita-city, Suita-city Simphony Amateua Orchestra was active, but during 1970 due to the difficulty of management, the activity was closed.
However in 1972, when Brass Band became popular in every place, Suita-City decided to raise an orchestra group where any citizen of Suita-city are able to participate easily and make the group to be a Fountain of Heart for the city.
Lead by the former members of Suita high-school Orchestra, and the support from Settsu-city Brass Band, and full cooperation from Talent Education Research Institute,Suita-branch to fill the strings part, the orchestra was formed with 35 members.
